Compatibility Question

I would like to know if the Presonus audio digital interface (bundled) is compatible with Cakewalk Sonar 7. It comes with it's own software and state that it is compatible with several software sequencers but, has anyone bought and gotten it to work with Cakewalk Sonar 7?

That will work fine for you with Sonar - I've used that box with Sonar 6, 7 and 8.5. Now I'm using the Presonus FP10 and have been pretty danged happy with it

The ONLY daw that is fussy about interfaces is ProTools as the versions BEFORE the just-released v9 were locked to digidesign-approved interfaces as a method of copy protection.

DAWs like Sonar talk to the ASIO or WDM drivers in the OS and the drivers talk to the interfaces.
That way there are no 'compatibility' questions.
You buy an interface and the daws out there will talk through the drivers to it.
