Comparing LINE6 POD with ZOOM GM-200 ?

Hi everyone !
i'm seeking for a Amp simulator in order to digital record
my guitar.
I'm searching for the first price, if possible, depending on which quality i can get... I've heard very positively about the Line 6 POD. yet, anybody could give me his feelings about it, comparing for example with the Zoom GM-200, which is more affordable.

Don't know anything about the Zoom you mention, but the POD is nice for what it's intended to do. I sometimes run it through my amp, but it really shines in recording direct. There's probably even better direct recording devices available for a higher price, but for the money the POD is excellent. Sounds like the POD would be good for what you are trying to do and the amount you want to spend.

I have a rough MP3 of some demo work I did experimenting with a POD a few months ago. Download it if you want and hear the POD direct into the recorder, using default POD presets.
