Gone
Ok, I finally had a bit of time tonight and I compiled some information....

Most of the following lists are people who I still need stuff from. I only checked you off if you said something like "I did *this* or *that* on such and such a date." If you said something like "I will do *something* *whenever*" then that's just heresay...I have no way of knowing if you actually did what you said you were going to do.

Why do I need to know what you're doing? Well, first of all I think I'm some kind of tough guy. Second, let's say you send something to Ed and the post office loses it (no way!). Two weeks later Ed says, "I'm finished!" and your song isn't on the master. You write me a nasty letter saying "hey I sent my song in I swear!" Well, you're lying and we're not going to wait for you :)

Ok, here we go....

The following people haven't been responding lately. I don't know if you're dead or what. PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT'S UP OR YOU MIGHT BE DROPPED!!! I know that some of you have special circumstances but I still need to hear from you soon. Please. hr_comp_cd@hotmail.com

As to the copyright shit. I thought that unless I was gonna specify some Recording Company (like Amrather Development) the listing would just be: Copyright [my name here] 1999. Oops. Sorry- I missed that.

As to the distinction between the jacket and personal info. I just filled out the little questionaire you emailed me and left no fields blank. I thought you'd handle the split of the data between jacket (song title/ artist/song length) and personal (web links/ bio/ other silliness) As to all of this info. I sent it to both you and Ed in .html format. Your's as a file attachment to an email to that hotmail address.
The other on the actual data CD to Ed.
Please let me know how to get these .html files to you if I haven't already.

Hmm...I guess I'll have to recheck. I seem to remember you saying that you stuck everything on a CD...but I don't remember ever getting copyright or personal information via email. I just went through them all tonight...I'll check again in the morning and let you know.

ok, I am back. I can only apologize and will understand If I am dropped. If you can give me the info 1 MORE TIME! (I know...) I will get you a song (ready to go) very fast.
So sorry I was gone. Business and stuff, but I have time to complete the project if I can get things like this 'questionairre' etc.
thanks, and checking my email daily now...

I am dying to hear what other people sound like. Since I've only been a member for about 4 months I don't know if you guys have already put one out or if this is the first compilation CD. Please advise as I would easily shell out 10-15 bones for the disc.
Thanks.

hey, whats this cd about? is it a compilation of peoples works they did at home on their computer? if so, cool as hell!!!! that is a great idea. i would be interested in getting a copy! let me know some details!
thanks

Supersonic & Tiger:

Yes, the Comp CD is a collection of original music recorded by members of the BBS...some professional, but mostly "do it yerself."

And not everyone uses a computer to record...we have people using everything from 4-tracks to DATs and whatnot. It's really just a collection to show what we've all been able to accomplish with our "studios", regardless of how well-equipped.

The expected release date is currently unknown but it's getting closer every day (duh). This is our first attempt at a compilation so we're all learning very slowly. At this time, most of the contributions are with the guy who's making the master (sonusman aka Ed Rei) so things are moving along nicely.

This will be a 2CD set by the way, and we won't know what to charge for it until we really start paying on it. It will be reasonable, however, since most of us are doing this fer the fun of it, not to make the big bucks. Keep your eyes open for the release anouncement (probably within a couple months).

Anyway, we will probably do more of these things. All active members of the BBS are welcome to contribute so you'll be able to get in on the next project if you stick around.

Thanks for your interest.

Hey, just got back from a 7 day family vacation so I haven't been tracking stuff.
Ametth, BurnDown at the I-Drive is the same. Its the shorter version and thats OK. I'll E-mail you. Slack, I E-Mailed bio and some copyright stuff did you get it? If you need the shorter version of Burn Down to go the one CD route its in wave form at I-Drive where Ametth can get it. If you want the longer version (it's 5:15) I can try to upload it somewhere that will take more than 50megs of disk space.

My tune should be at Eds by now... I think Todd put 2 songs on the disc but I think we decided to go with M.F.U.B.S...

Writing credits are:

Music: Todd Arnold & S8-N

Performance credits:

Mofo Cult:
Vocals, guitar, and bass: S8-N
Drums: Todd Arnold

Recorded and mixed by S8-N at Sintrak studios, a Personal Injury Production.

Don't get your hopes up. He's probably just "ordering dog food" as he likes to call it.
