comments please on blues from good old germany

This is pretty cool stuff, I didn't listen to all of it, mainly the first 3.

Does your singer listen to Holly Cole at all? Her voice is very similiar, especially on the first tune.

Since I listened to just the lo-fi, I can comment too much on the recording/mix, but from what I can tell it sounds very good. You guys play together well, has a band sound to it - did you record a lot of it live? Good tunes.
 
Hey man pretty cool. I listened to "Like a Spider". I'll go back and grab some more when I get the chance.

The first thing that I noticed was that the piano sounds great. It's a nice full tone...really nice, but I noticed it was mostly in my left ear. I would have liked to hear a more stereo image, but that's just a personal preference. It sounds great, and that's the most important thing.

The second thing I noticed was that there was some noise on the vocal track (which overall sounds great. She's a hell of singer). I think you could have solved the problem by either throwing up a gate to cut out the noise, or if you are recording with software, trim the wav down and eliminate the noise. The noise I'm talking about is kind of in-between words (for example: at 00:18-20 between the words "spider & spins"). It's not going to kill the song by any means, it's a pretty nitpicky thing.

Other than those very small things, the tune sounds great. Excellent job, I'll download some more!
 
I checked out "desire", and I love that piano. Great sound. The organ is very nice too. The lead guitar sounds just a little thin to me, but I like a fat lead, so it might just be me. I gotta download some of the others from the page. Singer sounds good when she really gets into it and belts it out, I'd like to hear her doing more of that style in this song, make it a little more powerful. Good job overall on the mix too.
