Ok, this is my first attempt to record an accostic song and I was wondering did I do well. I decided to make a cover of the song Brain Dammage by pink floyd and I even made some vocals, fortuatly I do not have a coral so I decided to skip some parts, but I wondering the following :

Does the accoustic guitar sound well event though it was recorded with a shure SM58 with no pre-amplifier.

If it sounds awful(you can also say so for the vocals, I'm in the learning proces so that's ok) can any of you give me tricks to make it sound better for the guitar and the vocals.

Here the link : Mp3

Thanks in advance for your comments and long live the Floyd and Syd Barrett !

oh sorry I will try to arrange that. Anyone know a good server to put stuff on it ?

there is one person from this site who has a place called lightningmp3.com. I think it is still there.

Ok I give it an other try and here is the link :

I'd appriciate any constructive comments.

Thanks you !

Sounds pretty good. Nice tone with the guitar, and vocals aren't bad at all.

Keep it up.

yeh, the first one works now also. It's a little quiet, The playing on the acoustic need to be more confident and needs to be played louder. That will help the song.

Re-record that, i'd beable to judge much better then. The vox aren't very clear, seem really...unclear, I don't know why.

But good job so far.

thanks for the comments, I appreciate that you say I need more confidence while playing, cause it is very true. I appreciate these comments, but I was wondering is there something I can do beside beeing more confident in my playing by turning up a notch the quality ? Is there something like playing a bit with my EQ or something that I didn't do ? Anyway thanks for the comments.
