Hello, I'm starting on the mixing thing and I would like to read some comments, how could I improve. I've made 3 song to practice, so here they are.

:D

I like how the instruments are mixed. Has a pretty clean sound. :D

Good songs, good performances, very clean sound and good mixing. The only thing that doesn't sound quite right to me is the crash/ride cymbal. Sounds kind of thin and tinny? The rest is very very good to my ears. Nice job. Love the guitar tones you're getting.

Hello, thanks for the comments i thought that the mix was too dry... It seems that the instruments are ok, but what do you think about the voice and the songs? cool? bad? it's ok if you don't like it, so don't worry if that's the case. :D

Thanks.

You are getting some seriously good guitar sounds there. I like the synths too. They sit really nicely on top of the rhythm guitar. I would like to see a little more high hat and cymbals, they seem somewhat buried to me. Although, its hard to tell on myspace because they stream at something absurd like 56 kbps. Its really hard to get a good sense of the top end on a low bit-rate mp3, and cymbals are notorious for being the first thing to go when you compress an audio file. Try making a sound click account, the free version is 128 kbps, which is wayyyy better than whatever myspace encodes at. Good stuff though.

Yeah man I like the guitar sounds. The whole mix reminds me of Billy Idol I think. The songs are different than a lot of the music I hear on this forum and recently in general. I think your doubled up vocals actually detract from the vocal. The words get harder to hear when you double it up in "what makes me live".

The rhythm guitar is too distorted for me in "it's time". It's taking up a lot of the space that the vocal needs in the mix. Sounds to me like the guitar is hogging all of the treble from the vocals. As much as I like the vocal recorded sound, it's buried because of the guitars.

Cool stuff though, I enjoy it. Your accent adds an interesting novelty.:)

Hello everyone... thanks a lot for the comments, i didn't imagine such greate response...

About the guitars, thanks again, i thought they sound very good, but never imagine such greate feedback from you guys.

In the song called "It's Time" I tried to make it a little more rock, and the others a little softer, i'm talking about the guitars. It seems that it was better that way. :D

Next song is coming soon.

Please keep making comments.

Thanks a lot.
