Hello guys, I've posted this song a looong time ago, but I only finished it a couple of days ago... and it's on mp3.com right now. Thanks for any replies!!

Stomp!

Good Tune! I heard a lot of different influences there. There were some vocal things around 4 minutes that I wasn't diggin', but the song was so bloody heavy, I couldn't help but like it. Reminds me a bit of 'Slipknot.' Theres something very dry about the snare but overall it's a good sound. I think the snare might need some more balls though......but theres also something good about the drum sounds. I dont know, I just liked it. I really love that part around 3:40 with those screams in the backround.....very cool.

very cool tune

Bodies scattered all over the mixing clinic

Not bad. Guitar and vocals sound just fine. But the drums bug me. They seem to be missing something. Your're snare sounds like a can. I'm not sure as to what causes that. Maybe loosen the drum head? Anyway for a heavy metal song you did a good job. :)

I agree with B.SAB's comments, this is some violent sounding kick ass music.

Hey guys, thanks for the replies!!! I HATE my snare sound!! I used a 13 x 3 1/2 and the head was very, very tight!!!!!!! I guess it's just the instrument that sux... 'cause I'm used to hit it hard... a 57 on top, nothin' on the bottom... I thought it could be ok :)!

Hey jeronimo,

Although not my personal proclivity of song style, I like your tune. Yes that D track needs help. IF it was live, you might wanna recut the thing.

The song itself and the delivery is very energitic and ON. Can you compress those vocals and bring them up in the mix without loosing the "flavour"? Just me but, I like the song and wanna hear it PUMP more. Maybe I should just play it louder but, I think you could tweek some more boost out of the bitch and get back the intensity that you put into it.

I know I'm only giving an ethereal and artistic review of the recording but, take to heart, I don't normally listen or reply to this genre of music.

"punch me in the gut with your mix"

Thanks for the thump in the head

Theron.
