Actually, this is "Fall Apart...Over You". Haven't posted much lately. But now that the holidays are over, I should be around more often. I have been listening to the Beatles thread and there is some great stuff going on there...

Anyway, this is a little different in style for me, I think.
Any comments are appreciated. (guitar solo too wet??? Bass too loud? Bass drum not loud enough?) Thanx.

Fall Apart...Over You

Hey Rami - another great tune man. I like the arrangements on the vocals - with the mulitple backups and overlapping lead singing - very nice. It really fills the tune out vocally, and just adds to the many instruments going on. This is as usual well played and well performed....another hit man!

Cool man. I really dig the bass myself. Drums seem to be just fine....Kind of a retro feel. Nice playing all around. Very funky vibe. Singing is just as cool as usual. I think everything is captured very well. And, nice tune.

Hey Rami, great to have you back.
Good to see that you still producing Bombs\trax and shit :D

Solid playing as allways, The drums sound abit more produced than before to my ears. Cool mix of rythms
Gives me a Red Hot Chillies feel at first, the refrain is just killer and unique.
I really love the Multilayered chorus, You really nailed that well, and from my experience thats very hard, so well done.

if I were to say anything as suggestions it would be
maybe a bit fatter guitar and a little less distortion, it sounds as the guitar part needed the sustain that it had so not completly dry just a hint.
Maybe that hanging Santana sound.

anyway it sounds great and its great to hear your stuff again. :)

Rami, what's up? You'll never guess this... but I'm reviewing this track drunk. Take that into account :D

Anyway... typing as I'm listening...
Cool drum and bass groove. The bass sounds just right to me.
Really funky action here. I like it. The guitar tone is real thin but that might work alright for this tune.
Backup vox work real well. This is a real groovy tune... different like almost dancy feel to it. That's cool though, I like the experimenting here.
Good outro man, real groovy.

Cool tune man, I'll give it another listen tomorrow

Your track has a nice sound to it... kinda gets the head noddin....

Hey thanx guys...Which guitar do a couple of you find thinn-ish. There are 2 guitar tracks, and a few different parts. I think you night be referring to the rythm guit in the verses? Thanx dudes.

The rythm\funky cleaner sounds good.
its the riffy guitar, the one with the most distrotion. is it recorded from amp or direct in?

yeah I agree, when I was listening I was thinking the lead part, the riff...

Thanx guys. I'll check out that guitar track. I wanted something a little dirty and gritty in the verses, but I I'll think about maybe a thicker sound. Thanx.

Hey Rami,

I love the Bass playing and how it locks in with the drums!
The guitar playing is great, maybe a tad thin in texture but in general listening through my pc speakers the mix is well balanced!

I enjoyed! :)

I think I have told you this before, you kind of sound like Weird Al, which is awsome. The music is awsome and the sound is awsome. It has a fun groove to it.

Thanx Gorty and Monkey. I appreciate the comments. Still trying to decide if I even like this song. I like the PARTS of the tune, but don't know if they really come together well. But it was a fun exercise in vocal arrangement if nothing else. Thanx again.

Outstanding sir. I like the eastern feel to the tune. Think Sitar. Could be cool.

Thanx Track...Yes, sitar is sort of what I was going for. I wasn't trying to "ïmitate" one, but tried playing in that type of mode. If I was able to put a real sitar in there, I'd replace that guit track for sure...thanx.

I hear the middle eastern groove too.

Great writing and playing.

The mix sounds good. Better than the shit I record but could be "in your face" a little more. (If that makes any sense)

Nice job,

Dave

Just 2-3 days delivery time, for my monitors!!! I can hardly wait!!!!

I have been in withdrawal, since not being able to listen to all of yours, and the other guys tunes!! :D

Good job, really like the middle section. Not to muc to pick apart, very well done. Maybe a thicker lead vocal, but thats about it. Nice.

Thanx for the comments, you all. I appreciate it.
True, hope you get your speakers soon, that must be torture.
Charva and David, I've heard both your stuff and think you're both exremely talented, so thanx for the listen and comments.
