I'm still in the recording and mixing phase of this project I'm working on. I've been trying to use an Shure SM57 for recording the vocals, but it's just not working. To me something is lacking and I've tried different plug ins and effects and it sounds OK, but not as good as I want it.
Should I ditch the SM57 and go back to a condenser? Or Keep trying and see if it works? I've been told you can get professional results with an SM57. So, I want to see if you actually can.
