hey y'all,
so i work at a college radio station, and our group shares a wall with the student life and administrative offices. as you can imagine, we are a pretty loud bunch, and our neighbors are not. I have been looking in to some sound proofing solutions for the shared wall, however im pretty limited on what i can do because its a very thin wall and can not support much. Im thinking either stapling some MLV to it or some of Audimute's Peacemaker Soundproof Barrier.
i have heard mixed reviews on both, but i dont need to completely block out the sound, just severely reduce the transmission through the wall. I was also thinking of getting some sound absorbing blankest and hanging them against the wall, however that would be really heavy and i probably couldnt get approval from the administration to tear the ceiling up and instal hangers.
any thoughts or suggestions would be helpful.
thanks,
Bishop
