Club Joint.....is it Knocking??!

That sounds really good, nice heavy beat. A couple things:

The high frequency sound effects around the hook are hard on the ears. I was only listening to it at moderate volume at my desktop, I can't imagine hearing it at chest-thumping volume (in the club).

I also think the vocals are a little too low to be heard clearly. Just a touch higher.

Other than that, I think you hit it right on the head. Good job!

thanks....i was very conservative wit the vocals....and the hook did trouble me...

I like this better than the last one Teach. The keyboard f/x do sound a little shrill, and maybe even dry. Perhaps try dousing in some wide verb and making them pan from center outward during the run.

That guitar run at 4:00 just seems a bit too bare for my tastes, for it's entirety. Perhaps some accompaniment for part of it.

The vox are better this time.

Teach, ya' got skillz baby! Voc's clean & crisp and the beat was rite and tite.
This joint was on point!

really its dry? i guess i have to turn up the verb and delay aux sends

yea for the bleep sound i'm probably gonna have to do an eq cut around 1k to 5 k so it doesn't interfere with vocals and doesn't hurt everyones ears

Well done, like the bass riff. The fuzz keyboard may be a little loud - PC Speakers though, take it for what's worth. BTW, like your "sharp wit it", listen to it often.

Well IMO not the whole mix sounds dry, just those really high keyboard f/x. Everything else sounded right on. When i mentioned trying a verb effect it wasn't for the whole mix.

Also like i said before, i was listening and i imagined them in motion, the riff starting in the center and panning outward.

i wasn't talkin about the entire mix either...been there done that...i think its better to get that space within the mix...

i was talkin about the aux sends on the individual tracks for the melody...i did have verb sends to it but i guess the dry track was a bit too lound to hear it
