Hey it's in the recording, not my stuff. Been recording for quite some time now without this problem. Isn't there some kind of filter or something, christ I'm the drummer and most of this stuff looks like Chinese. Further more What in Hell's name is EFX Amplitude modulation good for? Or how about,Wave Hammer?
HELP!!!!!!!!!!It's got me in it's Wave Hammer

OK I'm back to my senses. Seriously isn't there some sort of filter to eliminate or at least reduce that sort of noise. I'm not really versed in noise gates and compressin, yet that would be my guess as to how to reduce that sort of thing. Am I on the right track? You folks got any suggestions?
Thanks

Did you try raising the latency? You can do this under Options -> Audio.

o man if its not fixed yet... go into audio options... i think advanced and uncheck apply dithering if its checked. i had that problem too and it drove me crazy and so i just started messing with everything. i hope thats it.... it should fix it if not then i have no clue

What kind of clicks and pops? Can you see them on the recorded waveform?
I always think 'clock problem' first.

You seem to suggest that it is a new phenomena. It can be an IRQ problem. Have you inserted a new IDE card into your PC lately? Is your sound card next to your video card? Have you adjusted your latency slider? If so, what settings have you got?

No new sound card
latency set perfect(where it works best)
Haven't tried the dither yet, I'll get back to ya. Thanks

ya im almost positive that will be it cuz i also tried everything and then bam that totally fixed it.... lemme know how it works out
