I'm a total noob to all this. I recently started playing around with Adobe Audition (the new Cool Edit) and I've been trying out some bass guitar loops. I've found about half the time I get this annoying audible "blip" each time the loop reaches the end and turns back around to the beginning. Aaaaaargh! Is it me, or the software? What can I do about it?

BTW, I'm running about a 2.4GHz Pentium with 768KB of "Rambus" memory.

You can edit the end of the loop and just zero the portion of the wave that is incomplete. If you magnify the wave the most you can and go to the end you'll see that it doesn't end at zero level, even though the loop will start at zero next time it;s played. This abrupt change is what produces the click. Take the pencil tool and just draw a line starting at the end at zero and go backwards untill you find the first point that already was at zero. No more clipping then. Took me a while to figure that one out too...lol
