Hi all. Gonna be starting some drum tracking next week in rented room. Acousticlly treated and cheap enough, but still I would like to have all logistics ironed out beforehand so I don't waste money. So here goes:
I want all drum tracking to be done TIGHT to a click. However one of the songs is 4/4 all the way through apart from the bridge section, which changes to 6/8. I don't see any obvious way of Has anybody been in a situation like this before using CEP 2 ? How did you end up achieving it ? The only way I see is to:
Record up to the point of time signature change, stop(after cymbal decay etc. has stopped), put cursor on point where si. changes, reset click 1:1 to cursor, change click sig., and start recording again on a new track from the new 1:1.
That all seems a little clunky and messy. Is there a better way ?
Cheers,
Nathan
