Click Track Issue - Sonar 7

So if I try to run the click while recording.. I get absolutely nothing.

It's always done this BTW, I've never used it before, I've always just used scratch guitar tracks as the master tempo guide, but I really want to get into a more locked down tightness with the recordings I'm producing.

Is there a special routing menu for the click somewhere I'm unaware of?
 
in the metronome menu

you can change the sound, what outs its going to, if its audio or midi...etc.
