Click Track Export

Does anybody know where in Cubase 8 LE AI edition is the option to record and export a click track? Usually in the full versions of the software you have an option to render signature track tempo, but in my LE version, I can't seem to find anything that allows me to do this. Help appreciated.

Howdy stranger! I do not believe there is that option in LE.

Easy to make happen with Halion SE that I believe came with your software.

Add an Instrument track with Halion. Select Drumset GM.

Use the pancil tool to draw the midi space in the project window to lengh of your tune. (where you usually see the waveforms for audio tracks).

Then open the editor (double click on that space you created above) and select an appropriate sample for your click. Set it to 1/4 notes, left click and drag/add notes the length of the song. Your default when double clicking here may be set to 'Open Drum Editor'. If so, go to Preferences>Editors>change default to 'Open Key Editor.

Export that and re import into song. :)

Cheers JM!
