Im using CEP 1.2- Im wonderin- is there an easy way to create a click track that i can play through headphones to my musicians- that I could turn on and off as i needed?- guess i could just throw a mic on the metronome but thats a pain in the ass-

I appreciate anyones response and help

...I don't remember how it was in CEP 1.2. But in CEP2, you have to go Multitrack View to have Metronome on your Options...

Im not in front of CEP now (im at work) but I'll check it out when i get home- thanks for the quick reply

There's no metronome in 1.2.

I always just made a track of hi hat beats or digital blips. I still do this, actually, b/c it helps me line up my drums when I have to manually insert them later.

But, sadly, mic'ing the metronome is actually probably easier. Get 8 clicks or so and then loop it I guess.

Or, get 2.0

Good luck.

In most of my DAW programs I create a click track out of seperate click samples and repeat paste them throughout the whole song. They have to be seperate samples that are locked to the beat so that the program can shift them to stay on beat. Then you just change the tempo and they will automatically adjust for the tempo.

i just make a looped sample of closed hi-hats at the rate i want, play to it, and then a la chrisharris go in and play my drums on top of that
