:p I am sorry. I will explain it in a more indepth manner. ;)

Open Acid.

Then....

goto VIEW>checkmark EXPLORER>goto the EXPLORER pane/EXPLORER tab>find the sound you want to use as a metronome or click-track>open "IT " (double click it).

That will add the sound (WAV.) to your project.

Then....

DRAW the sound into the project>HIGHLIGHT/SELECT the sound you just drew>goto VIEW>checkmark TRACK PROPERTIES>goto the TRACK PROPERTIES pane/TRACK PROPERTIES tab>goto the GENERAL tab on the TRACK PROPERTIES tab>goto TRACK TYPE>press the drop down box>change it to ONE-SHOT

That should get you started. ;)

You should also try RTFM.

Peace...

Clicks for newbies

Nice job Spinster, that is probably the most definitive listings of free samples I have ever seen, kinda looks like my IE Favorites list! The newbies need folks like us on their side, but I think that you may have confused the newbster a bit...
I have attached a perfect hihat 16ths sample that I use all the time. If anyone wants to hear how easy it is to get full masters out of Acid check out the link to Phantom Lights at the bottom of my Contact page at www.nanolabsmultimedia.cjb.net there are three examples of some new stuff behind the words Phantom Lights, mouseover will prompt you to "click for audio", enjoy!
If anyone needs anything feel free to contact me through the email at my business site.
