I originally posted this in the Tascam forum as I use a Tascam 424mkIII and a 488. It is my very first recording/mix. I play all instruments and vocals. My primary instrument is the drumset.If your not familiar with the Tascam 424/488 they are portastudio cassette decks, 4 track and 8 track respectively.I have a more informative post in the Tascam forum, but you can hear the mp3 version at:

Hi,

Nice tune !!

The vocal are way too loud (my opinion) but somehow its pretty cool They layer the whole band. The drums need to be more up front.

The vocals are quite upfront in the mix and the drums are panned pretty wide-but since this is a Tom Waits song I think it should be anything but a normal mix. You did a good job with all the instruments and vocals!
