Nice sound on this. I like the way the guitar parts intertwine with one another. The bass was used well here too.

Good job.

Hey GT

I did this song before :)

Its one of my favorite tunes!

Hey G,

Yeah when I mp3 off my card reader, I have to use my tv speakers, as the amp to my good living room speakers is dying.

Luckally I do all the important mixing in my studio. Glad you liked it.

JM,

Yeah, it's allways been a favorite of mine too.

Thanks for the listen.

TripleM,

The intertwine was my acoustic, and my electric.

Fingerpicking with skin on the acoustic, and flat pick for the electric.

Thanks

GT

Cool tune,I liked the way you mixed the guitars ,sweet!
The chord melody stuff at 00:59 was great!

Definitly a tune that stood the test of time,as old as they come and still sounds great.

Really enjoyed it,thanks.

Happy holidays,
Pete

I agree with everyone. Very nice performance and recording. Great job!

Really good man. Very pretty and mellow...........just like Christmas should be.

museman,

Thanks for the listen,

I too like the mix of acoustic and electric, they compliment nicely.

crawdad,

Thanks, don't know if anyone is interested, but I recorded this on a Zoom MRS-4.

Lt. Bob,

Having you listen to one of mine, is an honor, glad you liked it.

Hey man...nice job. I love Christmas.

(and I'm getting some pretty major hiss on headphones; I thought it was a streaming problem b/c nobody else mentioned it, so I downloaded it, and it's still there, and it's pretty loud, but you did a really nice job anyway, and I hate to even bring it up, but then again, that's what this place is for, right?)

guitars and more more guitars...I love 'em ..you build up some nice texures and the guitars blend well - subtle separation...nice bass also.

Dara

Yeah chris,

Glad you enjoyed it!!

That would be the pod running dead clean, less drive equals more noise on a Pod.

Next time I'll up the drive, I think I can get 5db or so more and still keep it clean.

I allmost never use phones, so I appreciate the critique.

'twas nice listening to this. Your guitar blending is very good. Makes me wanna go get a flatop. You did the bass too I guess, nice tone.

very cool GT!

I'm hearing some hiss, and there is not too much of a stereo spread, but that's just me looking to bust chops..

nice version..

Fenderlikingood,

Glad you liked it.

This was kind of a celebration after finally putting my philips head screw driver away, after finally getting the intonation on my electric as close to perfect as my dog at a root relentless self would allow. I have been adjusting the saddles for years, litarallly.

So the good blend between my acoustic and electric, is due to a great degree, in having really good intonation on my electric, as there where chords on this all the way up the neck.

Those who know me, know that I don't use the twelve fret method for setting intonation.

Instead I do what's know as mean tempered tuning, on the bridge. This takes a hell of a lot longer, but in my opinion is the correct way to set up an electric.

Toki,

Thanks, yeah the bass was me, and Rick 4001. Thanks for the listen.

B.Sabath,

Thanks dude, yeah the hiss was the old drive too low volume too high Pod hiss, good ears!! Next time, I will up the drive a little.

Really haven't gotton much into panning, but looks like another adventure in recording fun.
