what programs best to chop up vocal and other samples in..i have recycle acid pro 4 and wavelab n i think there all terrible

I have used wavel lab from version 3.0 to currently 5.0 and it is great... Recycle is also real good for chopping... There others...

Sound Forge
Cool Edit..

But I feel Wave Lab is superior to those two.... What problems you having ?

I usually chop up what I want right out of Cubase. I figure hell I'm already using it for vocals so leave it open and chop up some samples too.

Acid pro 4.0 is not terrible. I've been using acid pro for chopping for years now. It does exactly what i need it to do. I started out with acid pro.

ReCycle is just deceptively simple... It's all about how you use it... Think ahead....

I use recycle my beef with it tho is u have to get used to it. i used to hate chopping with it now its all Ill chop with

recycle sucks because you cant drag parts of the wave or copy n past etc.. also you can only use wav files n its annoying to convert like 400 samples

u should only be using wavs in the first place lol. And recycle doesnt do those edits because the sequencers will. Turn off stretch and make it happen. It was designed for drums and it does drums really well.
