My Echo Mia card is sharing it's IRQ with other devices.

I havn't had any problems yet, but I was curious if anyone else has their audio cards on a seperate IRQ.

Are there benefits to doing this, such as less noise, or stability?

For many PCI cards, you get no choice for IRQ selection as it is handled by Windows. For ISA cards, you generally want each on a separate IRQ.

depends on your OS, XP handles multi IRQ's very well, ahem...

if it ain't, then don't :)

Thats another thing... I noticed in XP, I can't seem to change the IRQ's like I used to.

I'm sure I can in the Bios tho.
