I'M BLESSED.......
Is there any myths or superstitions as to what color you should have in your studio? You know the theory behind colors that set your mood? Is there any theories anyone knows that applies to vocalist/musicians?
I'm sure a persons mood reflects in their compositions.......

Everyone is different. I prefer two different settings for writing vs. performing. Something a little darker and intimate with a dampened sound for creativity and something a little brighter with a "hotter" sound when performing.

In my place...purple with splashes of dark red (maroon) with natural colors, plenty of accent lighting but not striking. I think...sharp lighting is distracting and uncomfortable. I like this look especially when blended in a medium to light wood filled room. Too dark and "dead" will make tracking feel like an eternity. If the room has a "dead" sound, it simply wears me out. :)
