Choices

Standing at the edge of a decision
And a thought has just occurred to me
If I had walked another path
I would have found another destiny
It's so easy to say
If I had another day
To take a different view
If I only knew
That the choices I made
Were the choices I gave
To all the ones in my life
Unnecessary strife
But it will be all right
Ah- Ah- Ah- Ah
It's my plan, it's my plan, it's my plan
To find some balance and some kind of
peace
Another day, another chance
A different choice that I will see
It's so easy to say
If I had another day
To take a different view
If I only knew
That the choices I made
Were the choices I gave.

Pretty good mix. I like the tone on the instruments (esp. the bass. Nice!)

Totally rockin'. The bassline is very cool indeed. Sounds as if played with emotion and skill. The guitars sounds pretty cool and the drums sound really cool.

The lyrics are cool.

Listening on headphones from work so might not be getting all the tones right. :) But everything sounds pretty cool.

thanks man!
i worked a long time, on the bass sound....
i musta tracked 12 times, til i tripped over a sound that i thought worked....
that's just the way i work, i never have a 'setting' i use on songs...
i just start dialing the knobs, cuz you never know, til you find it.

thanks for listening....
i spent more time on the bass, than the guitars....!
the trick for me is, finding the pocket, and staying there.
i can hear the groove, for sure, but it's so easy to want to rush the beat, when it's driving like this....
i wanted the vibe to be...... PUSHED, but LAID BACK at the same time....
it's supposed to be introspective, but looking forward at the same time......

Love it, love it, love it. (What else can I say?)

Totally cool song, Gonzo!
Band is real good, recording sounds perfect to me, a beautiful sound-spectrum. No nits, just loads of admiration!

Cheers
Joe :):):):)

This is massively 70's like the singer from Yes playing with a band that rocks.
Lovely bass, nice stereo image, guitars are cool - the acoustic interludes are a nice addition - the 1.50 riffing is really nice.
Now, contact Roger Dean to do the album cover - gatefold of course - make sure the lyric are included & that the cover texture is JUST RIGHT for rollies.
That good!

Awesome. I freakin love the drums. Everything else sounds awesome. Kick ass as usual. :)

Lovin' the drums here, lots of energy. I like how you let the vocals hang out there on their own during some of the breaks, like at 00:19 and 00:26. You have a great voice.

Cool song!!!

i'd love to have roger dean do the cover....
as it is, i had to go with another concept, here's the actual cover:

greg L-
the drums are pretty cool, eh?!
i was quite pleased, i only wished i could have actually been at the session!
thanks for listening....

chili-
thanks for the comp on the voice...
i don't remember actually planning a 'break' just for the voice to be there, i think it kinda just worked out that way.
it's a nice tension builder....
thanks for checking it out!
