Erland,

Really nice tune, you two sound great together!
I love the sound of your acoustic, how did you record it?

I just finally changed the strings on my acoustic,a pain but well worth it!

Thanks.

Best to you,
Pete

the singer has a phat voice.

The song is very strong. Almost a wildcard song but not quite making it there.

I can hear the dave mathews comparison and I definitely think the song is as good as any I've heard from dave.

funk on!

How'd I miss this?

Man that's a cool song as usual. What kind of guitar is that? It sure sounds good for just "throwing something down.
Your voice is hardly dismal......I sure wish I could sing like that. Do you remember when someone suggested doing covers of each others' work? This is the one I want to do.

Are you from Scotland? I play with a couple of guys from Scotland here in Baton Rouge from time to time. One of them told me ya'll had a big country music thing going on there about 10-15 years ago. It wasn't what I would have expected to be big there.

alrightee

Sorry I never replied before. testing out the new laptop now...

Track Rat. Thanks for continually being nice. Cheers

Sabbath. Bring on the metal.

WATYF. LOL. Man I`ll meet ya one day perhaps. Thanks for the good vibe.

TripleM. Hi there. Gald you liked it. I`m still awaiting that comment for real. Never use that word really. I`ll check out that Billy tune soon.

erichenryus. Hey there. Yup just got my degree yesterday. Over the moon. I am doing one more year of study for fun in Spain. Yeehaaa. Guitars played twice. pan one left and one right a little then add a third centre with twiddly bits. Easy. Thanks

Riku. Cheers man. I think I`ll try a trashy song. Glad you liked it. I hated it at first now I think its quite nice.

muzeman. Hey thanks. Really simple, two takes, panned a little. 6 strings. Nothing like a new set...

CyanJaguar. Thankyou man. What is wildcard? never quite understood that term. funk on too.

Lt. Bob. Hey bob. i would love to here a cover of anything. Cool. Well in Scotland it is`t really country more so folk festivaly. Fiddles, banjos, guitars, women singing, drums etc. This is really strong from where I come from. Cheers for now.

Thanks chaps. later...

:)

The first vocal melody is very similar to Bill Joel's "my life"

I also caught that one section that sounds like Billy Joel's My Life. Just a bit though.

Very similar? Indeed, it's virtually identical.
Just a bit, though?? Quite a bit, I'd say... more than a bit...
