Hey! NilBog
What dose cheesy sound like???
No I never used the fx1, but if it was free, sounds like a good deal to me.

I used to have an ART rack system. I gave it away too.

Does it sound more swiss "cheesy" or more cheddar "cheesy"?

When I listened to one of these, I thought it was more of a Nacho Cheesy. :D
But seriously, even a cheesy effect can be useful. Sometimes cheesy is good. Even though you probably wouldn't go out and buy one, if it was free....what the heck.
I'll bet you can find SOME use for it. I have a Lexicon MPX-1 that has several presets on it that are specifically designed to sound "bad".
I wouldn't use the ART as my primary effects box, but just about any unit has SOMETHING it can be used for. Hang on to it and play with it a liitle. It's not like you're out any money.

Hey Loud Guy Next Door, Is It Worth 150 Used I,m Not Lookin To Spend Alot, But Need Something Better Than NONOVERB, Also Anyone Use There Pod As An Effects Unit Sans Guitar ? Leopold

ART is super cheesy, but I'll do you a favor and take it off your hands. Tell Damien (if this isn't him) to contact SuperV (Mike, Bill, and Jason). By the way, we're also looking for a wheelchair - know any ex-paraplegics?

Who is Damien? Who is SUper V? Where in Denver you you live?

Hey Sir Lee,

No, it doesn't even cost that much new! They're 111.99 at musicians fiend and could swear I've seen 'em cheaper than that.
