I'm looking for a cheep effects unit to put on headphone mixes. I would like to have reverb and compression.

Anyone using the Behringer DSP1224P Modulizer Pro?

What other cheep units are there out there?

If you're looking for really cheap effects - well, actually just reverb then how about pulling the spring reverb unit out of an old guitar amp you've got laying about?

It doesn't require any power, is great just for vocal takes and you can't get cheaper than recycling old gear :)

Just get any cheap, used reverb unit you can find. As long as it's too noisy.

I use a nanoverb. That is about the only thing it is good for. Other than that, it holds down my newpaper well in the wind. They are like 100.00 max new. You can find them for about 50.00 used.
