check this rap mp3 i made

its my friends group, i mixed 3 songs together to form a sampler mp3. check it out at http://www.slowandstoney.com , i'd give a direct link but geocities think i am pirating when i do that. so you have to access it through the page. all feedback is appreciated!
 
I don't have time to wade through 3 songs, but how about you list just one song that you would like reviewing, it's kind of the way things are done round here. Also you might wanna try using mp3.com, ampcast.com or iuma.com for reviewing purposes, (people don't want to plow through an unknown website looking for the link to the song. Also you might wanna try reviewing someone elses songs as a kind of "repayment". Remember that you get out from life what you put in.

Huh? If they're going for a satirical approach to rap tunes, they've got it down pat.... if this was intended to be a serious rap song (the "Hooker" tune), then I'm afraid they're shy of the mark.

Really bad timing on the phrasing and questionable tuning of the vocals give the tune a Weird-Al Yankovic style - funny, satirical, but not meant to be taken seriously!

From a mix perspective, that vocal is pretty up-front, and seriously distorted (even for a RAP tune).... the song also needs some phat bottom end to pull it together. Also, the vocal fades in and out of the mix towards the end, as if you had a badly set gate that kept cutting in and out.... i'm afraid this tune needs some serious reworking, from both in performance and production.

And Royston has a point - if you want someone to review your stuff, just post a straight-up link... I had to hunt and peck through wads of useless pages to eventually find the MP3 page the stuff is on that you should have posted the link for anyways!

I don't think you guys were looking at the right song. because the "3 pack and a cheap hooker" song that one guy was referring to is my group, and that is meant to be comedy. no serious to that at all.

what I wanted you guys to hear is the Mp3 on this page:

the one titled "FoGGy e.p. sampler", and its not 3 full songs mixed together, its just partial parts of each song (time of track is about 3:45)

Nice job.... I can't give you any production advice without hearing it at a higher encoding rate! Everything sounds where it's supposed to be - other than mid-rangy honkiness and dullness 'cos of the MP3 encoding.

i put it at a smaller biterate so it would be a faster download
