It was long overdue -several years, so we had an insurance up-date meeting the other day.
The uh, 'understanding' we had with our long time broker regarding 'if we had a little of the side deals' going on in the home studio thing that we were covered.. Turns out the rule is any income what so ever disqualifies under home insurance.

Now it will be a specialty line- not even offered by the home' guys. I bet this will be a load of fun.

Oh, and don't think your 'gigging out' and those instruments get a free ride...

Same same.

I have a separate policy for gigging out. Its actually very inexpensive. The only problem is u can't leave stuff in the vehicle overnight if you "lodge" somewhere or else you're not covered if it dissapears.

Yep, I had the same thing happen. I went a year thinking I had insurance thru my homeowners. Now I have separate insurance - and it ain't cheap.

I was asking the original poster actually, but who is your equipment insurance with NL5?

It's not the equipment insurance I would worry about so much, it's the liability
