Hi!

I've been working with this band as Producer and Mixing Engineer, along with other stuff. So here I show the first track we've recorded and I have mixed.
Can you guys give it a listen and tell me what you think? Mixing-wise and Musically-wise?

Thank you so much!

Musically-wise: the intro is way too long. The intro lead part comes in at :10 and ends at :16 and you'd expect the vocals to come in after. But it instead continues for six more measures before a crash out followed by another 8 measures THEN vocals come in. Having a long intro is no big deal, but the parts are not really varied enough to warrant the long intro. I could hear the song starting at the :26 mark and it would be just fine. Or as stated above have the first verse start right after the :16 mark.

It probably wouldn't hurt to shorten the intro, but it's not bad as is. (Plus, I suppose that's probably the band's call anyway.)

The snare and kick get pretty buried in the chorus.

in the parts where you only have one rhythm guitar going, I'd move it a little closer to the center.

Overall, it's pretty solid though. Guitar tone is good. Vocals sound cool.

Sounds really good to me. Whoever recorded this did a fine job. Good mix too. The intro didn’t bother me but I did think it was an instrumental. Drums and gits sound great as do the vox. I say fork it.
