Your listening position seems to be in the wrong place, if I'm looking at the pictures properly.

Is that foam and egg cartons you have all over the place?

What do you expect of guys who have a Facebook page as their main webpage? :thumbs up: And look at that impressive equipment lineup - a few unspecified keyboards, an interface and a DAW!

Well, I don't really hold that against them. We all get excited when something's new. But if you're going to do something, at least try to do some research first so that you can get some of the most basic things right.

Maybe all the actually effective trapping and treatments are behind the foam.

Happy to see the 7b though...

All in all, I would say that you have a nice little set-up that's primed for moving onward and upward.
Suggestions? Certainly!
1) Facebook is a good place to make connections and possibly even drum up business, but I suggest you don't make Facebook your primary Website. I use GoDaddy to host my website and they also help with my URLs (website names). They have some pretty good deals more often than not too. Of course, there are a lot of companies that do the same thing GoDaddy does.

2) I would suggest that you raise the height of your monitors where the tweeters are level with your ears or place your HS5s with the Woofer on the bottom and the tweeter on top.

3) If you choose to keep your HS5s parallel as they are (but higher), consider trying the tweeters on the inside of your mix position instead of being on the outside.

4) I can't see things entirely in all of your photos but are you using 100% Foam Acoustical Treatment or do you have any Sound Absorbers or Bass Traps made with Roxul or Owens Corning 703 (OC-703) Compressed Fiberglass in the mix there?

If you are using 100% Foam Treatment, you will want to begin moving some of that out and bringing in the other as it will greatly improve the acoustics well beyond where they are now if all you are using is Foam.

That's enough for now as I am sure others may chime in.

I've heard that it works pretty well, in fact a lot of people have made the switch! :laughings:

I'm not sure what your point is.

Who had no idea? Your band? The studio? Both? Are you saying you still don't know where your speakers should be placed in a studio? Did you hope that "listening position" had something to do with sex? :D

DOWN BOY! DOWN! :laughings: :laughings:

You know what is best about your studio? Bunch of musicians enjoying themselves and creating a great vibe! That's exactly what its all about! A studio is so much more than equipment and walls. Good luck to you.
