In terms of mixing, at times some of the higher frequencies can be piercing. There's also some distortion from the aggressive compression you used when mastering (or was it mushering? ). Some of the harshness on the higher frequencies could be a result of the brickwalling attempt.

I'd think once you bring the sliders down a bit what's there will sound good.

In terms of spaghetti, a little light on the sauce.
