I don't think it sounds that bad. The vocals are kind of muffled and dry, I can't hear the bass either. That may just be my cruddy speakers, I don't know.
The vocals are kind of pitchy in parts, but it is alternative, so that's not necessarily a problem. Frankly the song just doesn't really grab me, I think that's more of a songwriting issue, though production could factor in as well. The vocal sounds kind of 2-d compared to the rest of the track, and it makes it hard to really focus on or get into.
Drums sound pretty decent, as do the guitars. The mix seems somewhat squashed at points but that could just be the mp3 conversion rather than your mastering job.
