I started working on my old Jackson Kelly STD and this is what happened...

This is my new amp head, the clean channel is cool, but the metal channel is freakin BRUTAL. Super full, fat, thick crunch, but with a clarity that is amazing. It exceeded my expectations...

This is what my guitar neck looked like.

Done with the wiring... Gonna just be slapping stickers on the back. I didn't wet sand or polish the paint job. Looks cool anyway LOL

Pickups (Dragonfire Screamers), Floyd Rose and hardware installed! I hand painted the guitar and then sprayed it with a glossy clear coat long before installing the new parts...

ANY QUESTIONS???

Frets look good, that is certainly a one of a kind axe you got there! How does it sound?

Well after a lot of work and frustration I managed to get it set up just how I like it. It sounds really really really SICK. I'm getting a lot of super thick tones, but with out any mud. It's crazy how low the action is with out any buzzing at all. For metal, death, punk, crust, grind etc. as sweet as it gets. I'll try to do some recording next week and see what people think. Not too sure it'll be good for music that you want to sound real pretty, but we'll see how it goes. I've only really tried the gain channel so far lol...

I like my action pretty low, I keep it so low I frequently have to tweak my trussrod while tuning. I like a straight neck also, I think if the neck is straight and stiff it increases sustain.

I like mine dead straight, no relief. It also seems to make it easier to play. I know if my hands really get cramped up after playing a little while on my acoustic guitars it's time to bust out the neck checker and straighten it up. It seriously can go from painful to like butter with a little tweaking :D
