Check out a little blues instrumental

I gave my daughter a Squire Deluxe Strat for Christmas.. and I hijacked it for a few hours and gave it a test on this instrumental... Not a bad guitar! Goes out of tune a bit too much and has a kind of thin sound, see what you think!

Any and all comments appreciated!

Sounds like like a Strat to me. I can hear you running the 5 way thru its paces. You got good chops too.
 
Yeah, started on the bridge/middle combination, the mellow part is the neck only, and then I do the bridge only... Did my best on the playing, but Stevie Ray I'm not! :o

The inexpensive guitar sounds GREAT and your playing even better. Neat recording!
 
sweet playing...right on man...reminds me of Gary Hoey type stuff !
 
Thanks for the comments! I might do another version with my Strat to compare... Actually my strat is a Squire too, but a 1983 JV Japanese, and I put in Dimarzio pickups, new bridge, refret, etc etc...
