They're probably worth about what the seller got for them. Pretty useless for music of any quality. They probably run at 7/8 or 1 3/4 IPS. I sold a bunch of those to a cable company in Eau Claire Wisconsin many years ago. Brand new the machines were around $1000 each. Of course that doesn't count the automation controller or the racks. They used them for commercial playback and community news. They might be useable as parts machines or replacements if someone has some sick ones. Funny stuff though. :lol:

That would be cool if I had the room for them and could afford the electric bill. It would blow people's minds to find out that an internet radio station (streaming audio) was run solely from tape. Ah, the ideas are coming...........

Yea, but that's 25 cents more than he was going to make hauling them away himself... in fact, that would've cost him likely considerably more.

And playback only, eh? Was this guy running a radio station in his apartment? Why the Hell would he assemble that thing to begin with
