I have a 200W EV powerd amp, and I am looking to build a home studio. I would be buying a new mixer, like an Alesis Studio 32 or a Allen and Heath mixwizzard 16:2. My question is, would I be able to run out of the new mixer, into the old one, and then have passive monitors from that? I was thinking tape out, to tape in, but I didn't know the best way to hook up passive monitors to the EV. Would I be able to use the regular speaker outs? Or would I use the monitor out, or the main out, or those?
