Cheapest Lightpipe Card

What is the cheapest way to get ADAT I/O using the a computer. A friend of mine needs only 8 channels each way. The Alesis ADAT Edit card won't work on 2000/XP so that is out.

He is looking for something under 300$. He thinks my MOTU 2408 is a bit too much for him

Any suggestions?

PS No analog I/O is needed.
