I need a Semi-Pro quality interface to my computer and i wanted suggestions before i got one. I am perferably looking cheap and at least 4 XLR inputs.
If anyone can help me please do!

Do you need just XLR inputs, or actual mic preamps? The only interfaces I can think of that have at least 4 mic preamps are the DigiDesign Digi 002, which has 4, the Aardvark Q10, which has 8 but I believe is discontinued, and two MOTU units, the 896HD, which has 8 preamps, and the Traveler, which has 4. I think the cheapest of those is the MOTU Traveler, at $850, unless you can find an used Q10 for less.

Actually, a quick eBay search reveals another Aardvark product called the Direct Pro which looks like it only offers four inputs total, all with mic preamps. It looks to be a bit less, but obviously its capabilities are a bit more limited.

The Presonus firepod has 8 pres. Good unit for $600

Id like pre's also but if you can find one cheap without pre's ill buy some in addition if its more afordable

I'd definitely recommend the FirePod. If that's too expensive, though, you might consider a Peavey PV8 mixer for four (IMHO extremely clean) relatively inexpensive preamps, and your choice of interface... say a FireBox or something.
