cheap roland modules any good?

i have a midi controller keyboard that i've only used with some sheet music software on my computer; i need a sound module to go with it, but it's basically just for one job, and i really only need some string sounds.

obviously GOOD string sounds would be nice, but even something kind of lo-fi would work i think, so i was looking at some of the cheaper roland sound modules.

i'm sure their outdated and limited, but i only need it for one project and they're also CHEAP on ebay and places, so i'm wondering if anyone has any experience with any of the following:

roland D-110

roland MT-32

roland U-220

yamaha TG-33

yamaha MU-15

if not, any recommendations?

I'd recommend the roland jv1010 its a great sound module with lots of string sounds and its reasonably priced at 399.00

I was once pleased with my MT32. Now it's silent
most of the time. Even if it is better than its reputation,
a Soundblaster Live probably sounds better and
more, and gives better bang for the buck...
I probably wouldn't put any money into an MT32 or
the D110.

I've always felt that Korgs NS5R and NX5R was
underrated though. With the NX5R you get a bonus
part that's essentially a basic Yamaha MUXX.
