I was in Circuit City one day browsing and I had found this mic in their computer section. It was an Audio Technica mic that had a 1/8" plug on the end with a 1/4" adaptor. After I looked the mic over and seen the price I decided to buy it. I've found that this mic is a really handy mic for recording guitar onto your computer mutli-track. It produces a nice warm sound that isn't cluttered with static or noise. However the mic does need a $2 windscreen to help clean the sound up even more, which can be purchased at your local Radioshack. Now for someone like me who is just starting to get into homestudio production and doesn't really want to spend alot of money off the bat it's a good buy. I highly recommend this mic to anyone who's looking for a good sound quality without breaking the bank.
