LOL, u funny man.

Anyway, why do u consider it spam? The forum name is "Hip-hop/Rap/Beats". I would think rappers out there would like to check out some cool cheap beats for there project. no??

Because the the overall forum in under HOME RECORDING. Most people are doing this in their home and do not have money to buy beats. But that is beside the point.

You haven't posted here before. You walk in and sell your snake oil. Well sell it somewhere else. You have been branded spam. Go spam yourself.

And mallcore was being easy on you.........I'm not going to.

This won't mean much since already blasted you but......

You site looks like shit. Advertising does not allow for sentences to stretch across the whole mother fucking page. That blue fade bs is amaturish at best and you logo is fucking wack. Not wack like dope or hizzy fashizzzy pusssizzzy....but wack like a real ganster ala Al Capone's crew coming to your home and just doing the job quick and easy with no bragging afterwards. Get my drift?

And MP3.com is dumb as fuck and anyone who uses MP3.com obviously has ABSOLUTLY ZERO BUSINESS SKILLS. Anyone with half a brain know that if you must register for something in order to listen to a sample, then that means that you are automatically eliminating 99% of your business. People are lazy and don't give a flying fuck about you. Why should they? Why should they take time out of their lives to sample your stuff? If you are such a good artist you should have at least a halfass website with enough space to host your own music.

You site sucks. Fuck off!

Thanks for the constructive criticism Outlaws, I can use all the help I can get!

I do plan to get the songs on my own web page and hire a proffesional web designer to design my page and logo. but as I am starting with very little capital, I got to start on my own and build from there. I don't think what I have is bad though - it does the trick.

Peace,

Markus

BBM..........

I will delete any of your threads if you continue to post links to your site here in this forum.

Post script: You are urged to become part of our family here at HR.COM. :) Your entrance would have been received in a more welcomed manner if your first post wouldn't have been a spam link.

Can someone please tell me what is considered span and what isn't? Isn't the forum called DJ/Hip-Hop/Rap?Beats??? I create Hip Hop beats. I sell them cheap - $25.00 for one beat right now. I'm trying to hook up with rappers who r just starting so we can both build our craft together. If I did something wrong, please tell me and be specific. Just don't call it spam, tell me why.

Thanks,

Markus

Most of the guys in here are doing the same stuff as you in some capacity, whether it's as instrumentalists, tracking or mixing guys, etc. so some appropriate post topics would be:

discussing current trends in hip-hop, innovative or unusual production techniques, asking advice and/or opinions from other members, answering those questions, comparing gear lists, etc.

That excludes posting for the sole purpose of promoting your own products/services, even in the context of "fair" product comparisons. Rare exceptions, member-by-member basis, tarring/feathering, yadda-yadda. . .

Mostly 'cause I don't need some guy asking me for free 808 samples, then complaining that "they don't cut through, and what am I tryna pull, giving him that Miami bullcrap", then getting tons of help from everybody here on sampling and programming samples, then trying to sell me a sample disk for $199 based on that single sample I gave him and the tweaks we all suggested, which he didn't even implement correctly.

Same applies to full instrumentals (at least to me, I'm pretty sure I don't speak for the majority in this forum).

mallcore pop,

Thanks for breaking it down for me. Basically, what I got from your post is that this forum is more for discussions about the topics (DJ, Hip-Hop, Rap, Beats) than trying to network for business.

I will refrain from anymore "spam" posts. Sorry to all that I have pissed off.

Peace,

Markus

People collab on tracks here all the time, feel free!

The problem begins when your posts look like they should follow "Support Homerec. Comp" and "Zzounds" at the top of the page.

Like Spin said, stick around and share your knowledge and experience, and I'm sure that the networking will follow.

Hey outlaws, u werent rippin on me dude, u were just showing what kind of a jerk u r. R u just an angry dude or something? Why don't u stop hanging around these forums and go to therapy? Just my advice dude...

OMG! We have converted a spammer into posting something constructive. Hell must have frozen over....

Markus, if you keep to that you will always be welcome here. Thanks for understanding the rules of the 'hood :-)

Dragon, I got your e-mail as well - thanks for the advice and your latest post. Your positivity is well appreciated!

I must have gotten you e-mail somewhere on this site and I thought that you were in charge. Do you know the e-mail address of the creater of this site?

Thanks again!

Markus

You know a nother colorful alternative is to just pay for advertising on the site

hold up 25. you dont think that hurts the market or waters down the game a tad bit. When the cost off equipment waaaay out weighs the cost of production then you have to do 20 times as much to recoup to 0 unless you use stolen software from KAz or stolen from a store. i hate to say it but this pc stuff is going to far. while undercutting may be markettabley sound and the focus is on volume and repeat business i have found that when people see beats that cheap they think its either no good or stolen. Believe it or not people would prefer to pay more for a beat. It gives them that sense of quality (you get what you pay for) i saw a guy doing it for 19.99 this the same kind of shit that ruinned djing and braught it to the point where it is. What are you using to make yo tracks?
