hi. can anyone recommend me something that offers decent A/D D/A converters at 24-bit? 2 channels is preferred. all i need is a pair of 24-bit inputs. i was looking at the m-audio delta 44, which is what i'm looking for, but preferably 2 channels instead of 4 to save money (yeah, i'm cheap). thanks.

try tracertek.com. they have some cheep 24 bit stereo soundcards.
for multitrack software the best 29 bucks is powertracks pgmusic.com..

I have the Echo Mia, and it rocks. Balanced 1/4" in's and out's.

Emu 0404?
Or just get an audiophile and spend the extra few bucks on 1/4'' to rca cables.

Echo Mia - 2 1/4" balanced inputs, 2 1/4" balanced outputs and S/PDIF (the MiaMidi also has midi in and out.)

Been using a Mia for a couple of years and love it; great quality.
