noise rock band i recorded : this is a pure improvisation 1'st take with two overdubs for vocals (also 1'st take). normaly they sound a lot heavier, they consider this clean playing.

not everyones cup of tea!!!! the words 'timing' and 'scales' have a different meaning for these guys!

cut out about 2 minutes towards the end.

The members of Fugazi after shooting some speed? :p

I'm an ecletic listener of rock and metal, but I don't typically delve into the strange. Tonally this had some things to offer. The production actually isn't too bad. Could use some drums and a form of bass instrument to round out the sound a bit.

Sorry no one else has listened yet. HR.com is not the best place to get feedback on experimental music, most people here like Tom Petty. :D

There's a few diamonds in the rough here and hopefully they'll give this a listen.

What's the story behind these guys?

www.tbttbc.com is their web site if you want to find out more about them. there's loads of music and some video on it under 'sounds'.

the mix is as the guys wanted it : bass (with massive distortion) and guitar up front and drums all the way in the background.

btw i like tom petty too :D and i found out a long time ago folks 'round here don't take kindly to strangeness.

I have only one thing to say about the mix... Okay maybe 2... Or 3. The entire mix is really bright. It almost sounds like someone jacked up the trebel knob on the master EQ. There is also a serious lack of mids. The sound kind of gets lost somehwhere in the middle of the er, um...track... It's like there is so much going on and it just kind of collapses the mix. I know this is how the guys wanted it mixed but I think you should have used some of your better judgement and told them that this would sound bad. It's barely listenable.

I can see this being like an oddity track like that one from Nirvana on In Utero. But really, it sounds like someone is having an epileptic seizure. These guys weren't from the special olympics, were they? I'm not going to judge creativity but honestly... I could have thought of something better to do with my money... Especially if I was paying for your services.

Well, this is not your mainstream type of music to say the least. But it is going to have some followers who consider it unique and special. Just not me....

I think the mix is pretty trebley (sp) also, where is the bass? Or is there one?

I don't care for the mix/tune itself, however, you have to make your client happy, and if they are, then you've accomplished your goal......
