Channel inserts and a mix/minus

Starting a small podcast and had a question. Recently purchased a compressor (behringer mdx2600) for my mixer (Mackie 802). Currently have it connected to the channel insert for my mic. I'm running my mic through aux send for a mix/minus to my computers mic input. My question is: does audio of the aux send also pick up compressor, etc. from the mdx or will it only send the uncompressed audio straight from the mixer? Will the pre-post button be used for this?
 
The aux send is after the insert, so the aux send will have the compressed signal.
