If your Strat has the traditional bridge set up try this:

1. from the back side of the guitar, insert string into a small hole. If you have a tremelo Strat the hole is visible through the plastic cover plate. If it is a Non-Trem Strat the hole will be drilled directly into the wood and trimmed with a metal ring.

2. Pull the string completely through the hole until the balled end of the string touches the bridge assembly.

3. Pull the string tight and toward the tunning post. With the string resting in the center of the bridge saddle and in the correct slot on the nut (plastic strip at the headstock) touch it to the tuning post.

4. Once you have pulled the string tight (no slack at all) trim it with wire cutters at least three inches past where it touches the tuning post.

5. Put the trimmed end of the string into the open slot on the top of the post and make sure it "seats" in the bottom. With the end still in the post, bend the string over 90 degrees and start winding so that the string winds counter clockwise around the post. and be sure that the string winds evenly.

6. Tune, stretch the strings, and tune again. Play.

Can anyone tell me how to play a fender strat like jimi hendrix?

Only joking, I taught him everything he knew.
