Hi, I'm using Sequel 3 and I'm trying to use a bass loop (not sure I have the right term) and I want to change the key of the bass line.

For ex: I want to do a G-D-D pattern.

I pick a bass line from the library, let's say I pick a line that's recorded in G. Then if I want to use that line for 2 measures in G, then change it in C, how would I do this?

If I change the "root key", it just change the everything in C.

Does anybody know how I could do this?

Thanks
Eric

if its set to c5 currently and you play C to make it play the loop in the current key, but you know the root note is really G, you can transpose it to G instead of c5 then whatever note you hit to start the loop will be the real root note, but since its already a loop you can't really decide the other notes, they'll always remain relative to whats been recorded. I guess you could slice it up and transpose each individual note to its proper note , then play them as you wish. Hope that makes sense..
