My bandmate just D/L'ed the demo copy of Antares autotune 4.0 to try with CEP 2.0. Works OK in automatic realtime mode but doesn't seem to work in the graphics display mode where you are supposed to be able to correct you pitch problems by redrawing the waveform. It does respond to the redrawn correction when played back via the preview button but when clicking OK, it does not apply that correction to the track in CEP's edit view window. According to the Autotune's maunal, it is supposed to work within an editor but I have been unable to get it to do so.

Does anyone else have any experience with in using these two programs together? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks, Moptop

come on cool edit and adobe pros!!! :p
Let's see if we can't help this guy out. :(
Wish I could. :)

Superspit, Thanks for the "call to arms" on my question. I wanted to post that I did get my problem solved. A search through the Antares troubleshooting section of the site gave me the answer. I had to do a little registery editing and now ith works like a a dream. Autotune is a wonderful plugin for folks like me who are not blessed with perfect pitch.
Thanks again for the support.

you're welcome.

Have you ever tried Melodyne?
I wonder if Autotune 4.0 is something like Melodyne.
Sometimes I use Melodyne for experiments but usually I borrow vocals
from others and never fix them up.
They said Melodyne is great but I never had time to learn how to use it effectively!

Sikter, I'm not familar with Melodyne so I check out their website. It looks like a great package. much more powerful than what I'm using. But since my computer is an older/slower machine, I'm not able to try the demo. I've been getting by with Autotune so far. It does eveything I would ever need at this point. I think a new CPU is the next investment for me.

Thanks for the tip though, much appreceated!
