CEP Phase Analyzer

How do you read the phase analyzer in Cool Edit Pro 2.0? How should things look? When i use it to analyze my drums, they show up all in line from the bottom left of the screen to the top right. is that good or bad? I asked this in the cool edit forum and didnt get any replies so any help would be appreciated.

A diagonal line means that everything is panned to one side. This will also happen if you put the phase meter on a mono track. (you can't measure phase on a mono track)

A solid vertical line means mono. The more the line tilts, the more the mix is tilted to one side. A good stereo mix will have a random circular pattern.

Oh alright, all my drum tracks are mono. My guitar tracks are all perfect so thats good to know. Thanks for the help
