The effect: Digital clicks, errors, whathaveyou, that are audible even in cd players (which generally means it's a big error), and could possibly be keeping the cd from being duplicable.
The cause: I isolated the clicks to being created during the mixdown process. The seperate audio tracks are clickless, they're fine; but when I mix the tracks down, these random clicks are created. (They're random because I've mixed down the same files and the clicks come up in different places.) I'm using CEP 2.0.
The remedy?
Since I'm preparing a master for duplication riiiight now, I don't have a lot of time so I'm just going to transfer the seperate files onto a friend's computer who has CEP. I'll master the files there.
